Unveiling Truth: Elite Deception Media Breaks Ground with Unprecedented Total Transparency in Guyton

Updated: Dec 1, 2023

Recently, we received a tip about an officer within the Guyton Police Department, with a concerned citizen alleging inappropriate conduct during a routine traffic stop for a driver allegedly speeding. The tip specified Officer Hanner and a traffic stop conducted on August 26, 2023, between 8:30 and 9:30 PM. Before submitting our FOIA request for access to body camera footage, the incident report, and Officer Hanner's complaint record, we contacted the Guyton Police Department officer in charge of public records to understand the process and the personnel handling FOIA requests. In this endeavor, we connected with Sergeant Joseph Coppola.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Sergeant Coppola, who welcomed us with a positive attitude and made it clear that any wrongdoing found by our investigators should be reported to him. He assured us that he would promptly have Officer Hanner removed from street duty, initiating an internal investigation. The transparency demonstrated by Sergeant Coppola raised questions for us at Elite Deception Media, as we had never encountered this level of honesty, integrity, and open transparency from any other department in the area.

Acknowledging the less-than-welcoming interactions between the Bryan County Sheriff's Office and Elite Deception Media, our team sought to not only shake hands with Sergeant Coppola but also with Chief James Breletic. Chief Breletic generously offered Elite Deception Media complete access to the department's records, policies & procedures, and a comprehensive tour of the Guyton Police Department. Chief Breletic, along with Sergeant Joseph Coppola, exemplified what it means to be truly transparent.

Our FOIA request was processed promptly, with all requested items received within 18 hours of submission. The Guyton Police Department earns an A++ for its exceptionally fast processing time. They went beyond providing the requested materials, including dash camera footage from the exterior and interior of Officer Hanner's police cruiser, along with his retraining certificates for classes following the events of the traffic stop.

Officer Hanner has agreed to an on-the-record interview, approved by Chief Breletic, although a date and time are yet to be set. While investigating the tip, Elite Deception Media carefully examined the traffic stop in question. Our team believes that Officer Hanner handled the situation professionally, even when faced with verbal aggression from the driver. We will continue to scrutinize other footage from traffic stops and arrests involving Officer Hanner to ensure a thorough investigation.

Viewers are reminded to treat everyone with respect and record interactions with law enforcement. However, it is crucial never to resist an officer or disobey lawful commands. Understanding the difference between lawful and unlawful commands is essential, as it can be addressed in a courtroom. Ignorance of the law is not a justified excuse, whether in a courtroom or when interacting with law enforcement.

The video from the dash camera and body camera footage of the traffic stop in question is included. Once our Evidence Library is live, all documents and records related to this story and others will be available. Subscribe to our list for notifications on breaking stories. We will continue to update this story as it unfolds, maintaining our investigation and audit into the Guyton Police Department.

In the video from the Dash Camera and Body Camera Footage your about to view, it is evident that Officer Hanner took every possible measure to de-escalate the situation. After a thorough examination, Elite Deception Media found no wrongdoing on the part of the officer during this traffic stop.

I think officer Hanner did a great job! Dude was doing 57 in a 35 mph zone! How do you not expect to be stopped and even with new tires that is an excessive amount of speed and he should be thankful Officer Hanner didn't arrest him for wreckless driving as this would most definitely qualify!

We won't talk about the fact that bro said he has a fire arm in the truck that he just took from some kids walking down the street! If we are being honest at that point officer Hanner should have asked for the weapon. I bet you the guy never turned said fire arm into the police either?
